Pulled auction.

I had an auction pulled for copyright violation. Apparently Rosetta Stone software does not have a transferable license. I don't fault ebay, but there is an inherent problem with licenses like this. I know they have been over turned once, then a higher court ruled they were legal. (Vernor v. Autodesk)

Ok, I get they are legally enforceable, but how do you know what is in the license until after you have opened the product? Then, you have to click the EULA when you go to install the programs. Well, if you haven't installed it, you haven't agreed to anything.

This is all rhetorical, I don't need advice, I am just venting.

What a bunch of bull. If you search Google you will find a bunch of complaints (many from EBay) on the resale. I am amazed other software companies having jumped on the bandwagon - such a shame. You paid for it - it should be yours - period!
