You oldtimers may remember 4 or 5 years ago I bought over 300 pounds of junk jewelry from an out of business "cash for gold" company. It was supposed to be all junk, but wasn't. Almost 250 pounds was junk and I sold it on feeBay to crafters and swapmeeters in 5 lb boxes years ago. Well I was down to the last 20 lbs of very nice costume jewelry and over the last 3 days I sorted, photographed and listed it in 28 auctions. If I sell all for my first asking price I will gross over $500

I still have a few pounds left that might be gold or silver. I have ordered some gel for my electronic gold tester. I haven't used it in many months and the gel does go bad. Now I just need to wait for a rainy day to test all those pieces. Been raining for two days with 5 days rain in the forecast, but no gel. Not worried, winter just started.

The first photo is about half my haul.
