new to this hobby

hey everyone,

I just started into metal detecting with my uncle and have been having some great luck. I recently found this forum and cant stop reading all the great stories and advice. I came across this artifact section and it got my interest. My grandmother was just telling me about how she used to find small red beads with holes all over her farm when she was a girl. Also my great grandfather supposedly stumbled across a burial ground at the edge of the farm a long time ago. between the farm and the burial ground is a big field we own. I have never found/looked for any artifacts but am pretty excited about this opportunity. I though i'd share this and will post finds when ever i get a chance
