    S.C S. River w/patina

    Here is a cool little savannah river. Not sure if this is banded or a speckled rhyolite or if its just mineralization that has caused it to look like this, but I like it. Hope you enjoy.

    I'm loving your SC artifacts! I spent 4 years in Spartanburg and went on some of my first real artifact hunts there. Wished I metal detected back then oh maon . Been looking ever since. Married a girl from Fountain Inn...31 years ago
    Ryolite. quartz and soapstone are awesome!
