1.5 hour hunt finds little birdies.
I took Chuck to my honey hole and we searched the river bank for about an hour or more and came up with a few here. Chuck found the neatest tiny birdpoint. I found a uniquely stripped bird point associated with the flint spall it was probably made from. Thought that was pretty cool.

Sniffer, I am assuming you mean......."Is there a way to tell if a particular area might contain Native American artifacts?"
Usually we look for rocks that were obviously cracked by being in extreme heat (campfire), as well as ash, bone, and flint shards.
