Here are a few rocks I found at a sight I've been hunting for years. I've found hundreds of points, parts, tools and the like on this site. The crystal point is a Alamance and is Paleo. The trianglular one is a Kirk Corner Notch. The dark point is a unamed type. Probably Kirk Related. The Kirks are around 3 inches long.
WOW....very nice crystal quartz point, one of the nicest ones ive seen. The rhyolite points are nice too, very common for the Va., and Nc areas! Thanks for sharing
Very easily could be Hardaway. Some Alamance have this shallow notching too. Of course the two types are directly related. My feelings won't be hurt either way. Found it in a area that I had found several Hardaway though. This Crystal point was found beside a tiny oval crystal bead.
Wow great collection. The first picture on your post on the base is that what they call a snapped base? Where the base is snapped and not knapped on the kirk?
Is this one like your unidentified one?
