A clearer picture or scan would make it easier to tell. It definately couldn't be an indian razor, because they typically don't have body hair like most other races do...no facial hair and stuff. Although I guess they could have shaved their heads...but could you imagine using a sharpened rock to shave? Although, with my electric razor, the result wouldn't be too different, I wouldn't think!

my guess would be some kind of ornement, i have seen half moon shaped ornements found in nevada, really rare. great find

This artifact is a Mid Back Tang Knife. These are highly collectible, if authentic it would be worth a decent amount of money depending on size and condition ( can't really tell from the photo ). Wish I had one in my collection.
