    Photos of Finds

Please scrutinize and offer any ideas, opinions, and questions. The photos here attached seem to show knives, scrapers, and other cutting tools. A set of arrow straighteners is in view. There are some pot shurds and other odd items. Also seems to be some unifaces and other tools. If you recognize something, let me know. Please give me the box and cubicle position, if possible. If other photos seem necessary, let me know also. I have re-organized some since these photos and after other finds. Sincerely, KW

    Hi KW

Yes, you've got a bunch of made-that-way tools and points there. There's not much I can tell you about them when they're in little piles like that though. But I'd note in picture 1 : top right corner : the little white blade is probably Hopewell. Left edge, middle : the oval might be a scraper or a little blade core. Picture 2 : middle two sections : one endscraper in each. Same row right edge is a backed knife. Picture 3 : four sections contain gravers (pointy spurs on flakes). Picture 4 : points and bifaces.

Most of what you've shown probably falls into the tool category. Anything with re-touched edges or showing use worn edge was a tool.

    Again : From where ?

    Re: Photos of Finds

box two center row from left, 3 in looks like a paleo thumb scraper. Still would need better photos of just it.
Looks to be some pottery sherds also in that box, a bone fragment, A lot of utility flakes and so on.

Box three center row from left, yellow item appears to be a graver. Center row box to the right also may be a graver. bottom row 4 from left also appears as gravers. Again utility flakes an possible scrapers.

box 4 bottom row three from left appears to be jay/ bajada projectiles. Other in the box are later archaic in style projectile points. Also utilized flakes and scrappers.

You are going to need to take photos of individual items front and back and post them. May take some time but will get better results.
