    stone tools

Got bored thought I'd post some more pics..
Small hammerstone, on both sides there are small deep pits, What are they from? I thought maybe from using it for a like arbore for drilling?

not too sure what this is. With the band pecked into it. It dosen't have alot of wear on it, asumed it was some sort of club head due to the lack of impact damage, don't know though, any ideas.

Perfectly round game ball of some sort.

assortment of grinding stones. The first one is kind of a cool story I was trapping badgers out of a farmers feild. one I caught dug a big hole and dug it up.

This last pic isn't an indian artifact but came from their time period, and thought it was pretty cool. I found it on the same property as the badger incedent, Burried in a creek. took it to the local museum to have some preservative put on it and they thought it to be around 300 years old.

I really do like hammerstones those look great, that is a nice looking skull. I sure would like to find one of those around here, the soil here does not preserve bone very well. You find an occasional bison tooth every now and then but that is about it. Those are some nice looking artifacts.
