The tip is broken, I cant figure that one out, it's fluted and sidenotched? I guess it was a paleo piece reworked by a later culture. It's hard to see with all the dust.

i have found a few like that and wondered the same as you,or was it created a sidenotch and the base was thinned and it appears to be fluted??

Hard to say, there is no basal grinding, but there is some parallel flaking going on. strange.

here they are cleaned up, you can see the fluted area better in this pic.

those look real nice cleaned up.that flute looks like it goes all the way to where the tip is broken.you could be on the money about it being reworked.thx for sharing the pics.
