took my son to southwest texas for some flint finding wow what a great time we had hope you enjoy our finds and even with some heartbreaking brokes we felt we did well great memories for this father and son trip if anyone has any input about the finds plz let us know ty for looking or feedback

Texas has some really nice shapes on their points!I cant believe I lived in Houston 5 years and never found a single artifact....Of course, Houston is covered in concrete!

ty manchu yes it was we had a blast most came from the screen dig but also got in 2 days of surface hunting nothing less than a fantastic father and son time for both of us .

Nice finds!

I took my grandson who is 7 to hunt last week. This was our third time to hunt artifacts together. It was very special to me as I'm sure your hunt with your son was to you. Thanks for sharing.

What city in Southwest Tx, I just recently, well a couple months ago, found some aritfacts in Crystal City Tx (Southwest Tx) along the Nueces river. Didn't find as much as you, but I did find a tortuga point and a Catan point there. Cool artifacts...

I use to live in Columbia Mo, there are a lot of places in Missouri to hunt fo some nice points. Have you ever tried walking creeks and streams after a heavy rain? Iuse to hunt the fields there till someone showed me how to hunt the creeks and streams. My nice finds greatly increased when I started hunting them

we were in barksdale tx on the nueces river about 40 miles nw of uvalde tex ty for replying abarnard.ty treasure hunter and yes we are just outside of st louis and creek and surface hunt alot around this area always looking for new areas and people in the area to hunt with ty for your suggestions and good luck

Cool, I believe that crystal city is just to the south of you. I haven't been to barksdale, tx but I am sure there are lots of ranches around that area just like Crystal City.. Were you pokin around on Private land, lease, ranch, or were you takin a cruise down the river? I was workin a job for CML Exploration CO.; oil and gas, and I had down time, so on a couple of the ranches I went lookin around by the river where the had plowed or where there were cattle crossings... I will give you a few pics of some of the finds. Mixed array... Seems you hit it well...
