    Uniface scraper??

    This is another creek find from this past spring....knapped on one face, sharpened to one side with a possible peroforator on one end?

    It's hard to say, from not being able to make out the flaking pattern on the top. But what I think you've got is a tabular chert blank that's had tool edges worked into it in a couple spots.

    (Chert is usually found either as nodules [lumps] or in flat sheets [tabular]).

    could be a tool or maybe just flint that has been water tumbled.would have to have in hand to really tell.i have found many similiar pieces in the creeks/rivers and sometimes it is very difficult to dinstinguish between the two. if it has been worked on the edge and has a another edge that is sharp to the touch then it probably isnt water tumbled,usually water tumbled flint will be dull on all edges almost smooth,kind of similiar to grinding on an artifact where they wanted a smooth edge. thx for sharing the pic
