    Recent finds over the weekend.

    These are some of the points and tools I found over the weekend. My Dad found one of the triangles. Two uniface tools with spokeshaves. Anybody have an idea of what the larger humpback tool is, or what period / culture these are associated with? It's pretty thick, made from some local chert with weird inclusions.

    yeah, I think you're right, the bit has an upward taper towards the other end, and the form looks very similar too other chert examples that I'm looking at here. I found another piece like this and I thought these were humpback tools. I really need to study the larger tools, thanks.

    Fire definitively damaged a couple of these, it doesn't take much to ding those delicate little triangles. The site / area is multicomponent miss. - paleo.
