I'd probably lose it there. All that stuff !

How 'bout a picture of the stemmed point in your 4th picture with the tan tip & grey body ?

Looks for all heck like two scrapers in the third one -- a teardrop-shaped one of red jasper and a squarish one of something like greyish chalcedony.

    Hey uni
The last couple of pics show the grey one with the tan tip from the in-situ. This site is all flint and shell some deer bone. Every thing is knapped on one side at least. You could scoop up buckets full of flakes it was like a factory. But not a quarry site it was a long time village site. We have never seen as much knapped stuff as this site. They even knapped chunks of limestone and mountainstone if it was there. Crazy. I blew up the pic it may be hard to see?

Looks like a good day on the river Tn. That nice point alone is worth the trip imo, although just getting out at all is worth it too. That bank is full of promise, lots of lithics, and shells, did you check out the bright red piece, looks like an artifact from here? What did your dog think of those coons? mine wouldn't have been able to contain himself and I'm sure he'd have jumped in and gone after them. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

Thanks 37. I enjoy going if I come back empty thats ok I have had a good day. The dog went nuts on the coons, lol. The red was nothing its just bright. There is lots of it. These paricular sites run for miles and miles. Water was to high today and I saw tracks before me. I need to hit the fields off them. Thanks for looking.

That dog is very serious about his boat rides. I inherited him. He has no idea of his size and I really have to watch him as he goes after really large dogs. Thanks Sandcreek~~
