Late July finds in Western Oklahoma

Flint is now showing itself nicely on the High Plains. I've posted several images from a known Wichita Indian site. However, I would very much appreciate some input about the diamond-shaped stone. I've seen some similarly-shaped implements that were hafted, however this is a relatively small piece. Hope to have more posts soon.

Pik, Marty, and TnMountains, Thanks for your kind comments. Was out this evening but ground yielded only three or four artifacts. Did find a broken knife blade and nice reworked scraper that I hope to display in a couple of days.
Abarnard, Likewise, I appreciate your comments. The area over which I am hunting is a confirmed and previously excavated Wichita Indian site which was dated at about 1450 AD. That's not to say that there couldn't be some Paleo-era material scattered about, but to my knowledge (which is admittedly limited) these tools and points are all of the "protohistory" period of around 500-600 years BP. To all of you, thanks for the kind comments. I have provided a handful of images from other items recovered last week. Notice how a couple of the scrapers have a raw bacon look. Hope you enjoy these.
