Is this a rough point or a geofact?

I found this in the same spot that I found the white quartz (my earlier post) and am wondering what if anything it is. Thoughts?

OK. It's a flake. Assuming somebody was responsible for it being a flake (as in deliberately created it), the question is then whether it's a utilized flake or debitage. Vein quartz being generally pretty low quality stuff (as lithics go), it may not be easy to tell.

Are the edges (or is part of one edge, or is the tip area) more nearly blunted than the rest (indicating use) ? Is there any tiny secondary chipping (ditto) ? Bits snapped out of the edge(s) from hard use as a knife ?

Tony Baker has an interesting article on flakes at his site.
