    Opinion (solicited) :

    Nr. 1 : preform abandoned when the end-thinning didn't reach the hump in the center and take it off.

    Nr. 2 : So much for the rubbish about how frost always takes fingernails off artifacts.

    What the heck are those little black rectangles on the last one ? ! ?

    Some kind of fossil void, I've seen it before in a raw cobble of flint I cracked open, same exact pattern. Freeze and thaw did a number on the first two for sure.

    I agree w/ 37 on the last piece, those small rectangles are from the dissolution of either aragonite or calcite from a fossil. Gives the artifact character, haha.
