    Spear point???

I found this when I was four or five in my parents backyard in south Austin, tx and have had it for 40 years now. Never knew what it was but made up some great stories when I used to take it for show and tell including how it was used to hunt dinosaur and even had dinosaur teeth marks on it

I've never found anything similar in pictures and when I took it to Antiques Roadshow a year or so ago in San Antonio, all they could tell me was that it looked like part of a broken tool.

    any ideas? thanks

Cutting tool. Cool you held on to it all these years. I was banned from show and tell in the first grade for similar activities.

The Antiques Roadshow was correct. It is a tool of some type, probably a Knife or Scraper, that has been broken.

I am so glad you kept it all these years. Something to pass on.
