    Texas Arrowhead! A Keeper!

My good TN friend Texastee mailed me a surprise package on account she is as sweet as peach cake.

It arrived today..and as the excitement gripped me I struggled with opening the package..It felt like Christmas morning!

    One word: BEAUTIFUL.

I took a pic of it atop a dead sea cabochon pendant for effect. Please note the colors and fine workmanship.

    Thank you tee.

Texastee2007 stated she liked to hold it up to the light and look through it. Well I did the next best thing for a photo here..I took a pic of it over a flashlight. The coloration is stunning! It's like a glass window.

I really don't think they made them so they would fracture, obsidian is easy to work with and very sharp, sharpened or napped correctly obsidian is sharper than steel. They could make an obsidian arrow head that was sharper then a steel scapel used in surgery today.

They did make the arrowheads so they came off of the shaft when you tried to pull the arrow out though.

    Really nice point...................

Cappy you have released the Native spirit inside the Arrow head....do you see the stork?
When I see a stork...I start running the other way as fast as my 53 year old feet can move....
