those are nice
quartz must be difficult material to work with
are they about an inch long?
Yup they are all an inch or so....the stemmed point on the top left is about 2-1/2 inches long and super thin...my scanner does it no justice, but my camera is busted. Probably a few weeks or so before I can buy a new one
Those are nice points, some good examples in that lot. I've got a few points from that area in Prince William county.
Damnit man!!! you called it Prince william & Fairfax counties!!!!...the old soybean fields and Jeanway farm off old post office road...my folks still live IN THE BATTLEFIELD...now Old farm Ln, but back then it was just Sudley rd.. they live just north of the stone house & old picnic area, but before Sudley Church....just wait til I bust out my cw collection for the guys in best finds...cs eggshaped oval belt plate, eagle breast plate, live Bormann 12 lb er....etc
Cool, lots of history in that area to say the least. Looking foward to seeing your cw collection, careful man, you could wake up tomorrow and your folks field will be chock full of metal detecting treasure netters, lol. just kidding with you. Thanks for sharing the pics of those sweet little quartz points. have a good one.
My "relic room" is still "under construction". To make a long story short, we hfad an incident with water damage & shelves falling off the wall. Now that the stepkids are gone I am turning one of the bedrooms into my Man Cave. I have boxes upon boxes of cw relics, indian relics, antiques and fossils and other junque to unpack and organize. These were just a few of my better finds. I probably have thousands of brokes & heartbreakers from several states......N.C., N.Y(long Island), WV., Va, Pa, Nj, and of course Fl
Bare with me guys... I will eventually post some of my neat stuff. I have never bought sold or traded any artifacts, etc...I do have a few pieces that were given to me, but everything else was found by me
