My Latest Ft Ancient Finds

[The Grim Reaper]

PaleoJoe and I hit a Ft Ancient site yesterday and we both did pretty well. Joe found the killer Knife he has posted already and I found some nice pieces after he left. I found three Bone Beads(one of them is a killer), one really nice Triangle and a few damaged ones, a Bone Awl, a piece of cut Deer Antler, a crude Pottery Disc, and another Fish Hook, my third from this site since April.

Love all of them but that triangle and the fish hook are really cool. Were the triangles used as blades or points? Great finds!

Fantastic finds. I never find bone that is not shattered in a million pieces for the marrow. You guys had a good day. Enjoyed the article as well

Man, that would be great to find stuff like that,. we dont have that round here, flint and hardstone thats bout it, very nice!

Yes, Sir, that fish hook really spells fish. Bet it caught many a good meal for a hungry family.
Couldn't see how it was made until you showed the other side. Never would have imagined.
I only have one fish hook and it is made of flint.
