Who here at TN is the most knowledgeable Paleo-flint expert?
I want to send someone a piece of weathered chert I believe is a scraper.
lol..To evaluate and return.

What makes you think it's Paleo? Did it come from a known Paleo site?

I'd send it to uniface. He has encyclopedic knowledge of old tools, especially all things ...you guessed it, uniface. Post some pics if you can though, I'm sure the collective brain power here can narrow it down for you.

round here we chuck scrapers and other busted up junk in a bucket or a box, some get left in the creek/feild they are not worth carrying round. any peice flint/chert could of been a scraper, they just aint got no intrest here. anybody want a bunch? I gotta bunch. they aint worth the shipping though!!lol!

Ill dump my buckets and boxes and sort out the "just flint" from the scrapers and see what it all weighs, I gotta another member wanting some too. nobody round here buys them so there just dead weight, allotta weight. Ill get back at both of you.

over 40 years of huntin I got only a few scrapers I called keepers,(did not get chucked in a box) ones a bigum. the turtle back, and the gray one has a broken spur on it, nice bull nose blade,
