my friend Russie's frame
I have a good friend named Russie
he has hunted with me about a dozen times
he put what he found in one frame
he has a nice little bunch of stuff
what do you guys think?

what do I think? WOW! love the little green piece amulet? looks like jade? WYO jade isn't that dark, WA state jade is. could it be from there?

funny thing about the little green amulet
russie and I each found one within 10 seconds of the other
the one I found is made of shell
I will try to post a pic of it
I would like to know how that little jade piece made it's way into a field in the dakota's

Great stuff, but how big would that side notch at the bottom have been? 6 or 7 inches? Your site is amazing.

That is a nice collection! Pictures don't give fine points like those justice. That green jade pendant is something else.
It doesn't surprise me that you have jade on your site(s); considering how many exotic marine shells and other long-distance trade items you find. I think a lot of people think North Dakota is "far away" from everywhere else. But actually ND is in the center of North America and is less than 1500 miles from The Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico.
