Great pics and finds Greg, thanks for the view. That is one cute pup, she's a beauty, looks like a good hunting companion. Teach her to sniff out the artimafacts at an early age, haha.
Nice hafted scrapers, that ridge tool looks like an early core tool I was reading about the other day(I'll see if I can find that page and link it here) really nice material on that piece.

Nice clovis and field finds. That is a good looking animal. You had a good hunt. Garter snakes new dogs and flint does it get any better than this??

Re: 10/04 ohio field finds
Hey Greg, here's the link I was talking about. I'm really not sure though to be honest but imo it looks similar to early core technology, a thick flake driven off a prepared core then retouched or modified. I found this similar piece on an early site that has produced late paleo lanceolate types and also some fluted points, and uniface tools.

thx for the link 37,kind of made me look at my piece a little closer.it appears to have been hafted, base has been thinned.it does look to have been used as a sidescraper and maybe a knife,it also has some large serrations.combination tool is my guess.but whether its a paleo piece is a mystery.

You guys kill me living so close to the happy hunting grounds....Have you ever considered digging deep looking for other artifacts?
