    Todays little Shale point

    This is yet another of the many shale points that I find at the low tide water line. I guess they were used for spearing Gar and other fish in the river. Whatever they were used for, there sure are a lot of them here

    Hahahaha! As I was checking to see how this post came out, I saw the obvious! A box of shells under the shale point

    I dont know airborne. I have never found any like that in my area so I would not know. The shape is right but wonder if it would spear a gar those gars are tough guys. I have had arrows glance off of them before,,,

    Yea..... hard to say what they were used for.... I just guessed gars due to the many Gar Scales that are found on the shore and on the hills overlooking this river site. Whatever they used em for, they sure made and lost a lot of them. Thanks and its good to be back.
