A nice Drill and an odd flint piece

This is a nice drill I found back in the late 90s and a odd shaped worked flint piece I found in july of this year. Both were creek finds. I have seen a couple other flint pieces shaped like this odd one from adair co missouri. but, dont know what they were used for. Any Ideas?

cool relics.that eccentric/exotic is like the others said a rare find.some were made as effigys and some are believed to be purposely made that way maybe as a practice piece for a young/beginner flint knapper?i dont think anyone really knows what function these exotics had.thx for sharing the pics.

    Nice Dalton Drill!
The Eccentric piece is probably Woodland period. In Missouri Eccentric's were used artifacts.....tools ect
    Not Effigys..............but tools to use.
Maybe some day Archeologist will come up with a reason why so many are found in Woodland context when dug up in Missouri............
