    Thanks, everyone this is just to cool. Any ideas as to age and type of stone this was found in the middle Con. river valley just east of Northampton. Any more info appreciated.

    That looks like a late archaic (3000bp) stemmed point, perhaps an "Orient Fishtail" type (hard to tell from pic)...probably a fine grained rhyolite.
