can someone id these points,,please
these r missouri finds,the 1st two were found yesterday 30 yards apart,creek finds.this is my 2nd year of hunting top frame were some from last year.please feel free to tell me about any of these artifacts,,my research came up with one being a hardin and the other a sedelia?

IMO..The first could be a Kay blade...Mississippian 1000 to 600 BP. The second could be a Holland 10,000 to 9000 BP. That little sweep in the base is more diagnostic of a Holland or Plainview. The base is not right for a Sedalia. A Holland is much rarer...You did well!!!

Congrats on some nice finds.It looks like your second point has some beveling going on.I think it's a Dalton.
Arrowhead shaped leaves are the enemy!

2nd piece is definately Dalton family and an exceptionally nice point. I also this Rege-PA may be right with the first as a Kay blade. very nice points

Nice finds, good luck on future hunts. what area in general in Mo you hunt? I mainly hunt in central Mo. Take care. JYD...

Can you get us photos of both sides of the second point?? Also do you know how to tell if the base were hafted in the shaft is ground or not??
