Was a great show, good to see a lot of you guys again. The hafted adena point that Gary found was awesome. I think Motley told him it was antler. Good pics, and yes it was packed out. A very good time.... John

I was at the collinsville show and man what a show it was. Those collections sure are made up of the best of the best points I have ever seen. Did anyone else see the meteorite clovis? What an interesting piece that was, its the only one ever found in the world.

What's the story on the Olive Branch biface?
On loan? In private hands? I've always been
kind of fond of that cache.

The Thebes Gap that was found at Olive Branch is in a private collection and not for sale at this time. There were a lot of Olive Branch pieces on display over the weekend but none were for sale.

    Re: Collinsville Show

I did not get a picture of the meteorite clovis point but the man who owns it told an interesting story. He bought it from an old woman who was a girl scout leader. He had the best of show for a couple years through the early 2000's. It looked exactly like obsidian until he put it up to the light. Then it was a brownish green, and clear as a bell. Maybe someone has a picture of it.
