    What are these Grass Shapes

I live on about a 100 acres and every year some areas of grass have these curves in them. I will post a picture of one from each end. This is a large one that steps off about 75 feet from end to end. Some around here are maybe 15 feet long. I just wondered if these were natural or something from indian days. I live next to a river and in the fields arrowheads and such have been found. Thanks

I will ad this to my post. These are in the same places year after year. They don't come and go.

Re: What are these Grass Shapes

If the rings are in the same locations they could be of Indian origin. I have seen noticeable vegetation rings where Monongahela villages once stood. The clam shells, charcoal and bone material that is still in the soil causes an area of greater fertility and a difference in plant growth. These areas when plowed appear much darker.

Odd - maybe check for meteorites. I've heard there is a lot of that in KS.

Re: What are these Grass Shapes

Mushrooms grow by a network of roots under the surface, super nutrients, hence the greener grass. when the conditions are right, up springs the mushrooms in a circle, or arc. "fairy rings" The circle grows larger?

    Or something like that.
