    I.D. Needed on Arrowhead

    I found this arrowhead in a soybean field and was wondering the identification of it. Is it a Levanna point?

    Hey Kirk... I'd say that's a Levanna or Madison point. They're pretty similar types and it's hard to tell because of the damage. Check out this link:

    Either way, it's a triangle point and probably 200-1,000 years old. Pretty common points in the Northeast and among the most recent before the conversion to guns.

    A nice change from all those "coppas"!

    I think for your location Levanna is the right call.
