    Grindstone or not?

    I found this yesterday. A young fellow that I try to mentor, we will call him "Jasper", says that I should toss it away as trash or use it as a paper weight. I have an idea that it is a grindstone.


    It was in a field of flakey debris as you see. The only rock of it's kind in the area. Before I realized that it was probably a grindstone, I picked it up to look at it and then returned it to take a insitu pic.

    Well, was it a tool? What say you guys?

    Yeppers..It looks like to me that a certin jasper colored Grasshopper,should try harder to grab the pebble..lol...great Mano..
