Larson,
As always awesome pics. The hammerstone/buffalo horn was my favorite. Did you not keep the hammerstone?

More great stuff from Larson's fields....
I bet you get worn out searching with all the material in those fields. There's so much to look at.

Re: fishing tackle and stuff from yesterdays walk
yes worthy
I think a fishing weight for use with keeping a baited bone hook on or close to the bottom
I would agree that it could also be a net weight
thank you for your interest

Re: fishing tackle and stuff from yesterdays walk
thanks everyone for your great comments
I will try to do another walk very soon
Josh, yes that is a split tooth, it could be a dog or mountain lion or racoon or?
I see lots of animal teeth laying around, especially buffalo teeth
I have never found one with a hole drilled in it like SRV finds
I wish I could get Al and Russy to break down and get themselves a good camera
I have this canon sd1200 10 megapixel it is great and only costs about 125 bucks and also very small

Larson, amazing site , is that field or River/Creek bank? I've seen your posts before but don't remember.
You have a good spot!
