What is this, Is it an Indian artifact?

I found this on an indian battle field. Trying to figure out what it is. RR says that it looks like what they used to bake with. what do you guys think?

Is there a little ding or notch carved in it or not? If there is it is a bolo ball if not it is a gamming ball and yes it is an artifact . Battle field? Most battle fields were villages where massacres took place as at Wounded Knee where they nearly wiped out Chief Big Foot and his people on december 29 1890.only a handfull survived out of 300 . Most Battlefields were villages and a good place to look for artifacts .Good Find Grasshopper Bob

just to let you all know where i found this at. there is a church and in the front yard of the church there is a stone. like a grave stone and it says something due to the effect
last battle between the shawnee and another tribe of indians and it gives the date... found it behind there. the date is like 18?? and the stone was put there in 1918
