a few new finds!

spent a couple hours in my favorite field yesterday, found a couple nice pieces....

Great hunt, what kind of chert is that?

looks like a good feild,i dont have much luck in them.the white colored stuff is neat. jamey

buckhunter im no good with most types of chert/flint, still trying to learn that. i kow that the one point is a "sublet ferry" point. i believe its a fossilized chert.
the others ive not studied enought yet...
jamey i was picking up the white stuff all day, just keep a few pieces that looked better than the others.

Nice Tree !! That field must be loaded it looks like everything there is worked to some degree. Like the local cherts. I especially like that smokey quartz. I am seeing hornstone the first looks like dover maybe some fort payne and then that crazy pretty cumberland brown stuff
I need to do a hunt before you guys drive me crazy with all your good finds.

Nice haul man, lots of interesting stuff there, that last piece of material is very Sonora like.
