another day of finds!
spent a couple more hours in the field, got something im not sure about it looks to be stone but cant say for sure..

What is that?? I have no idea. Could it be any type of construction debri? Clueless here

Tn im not sure, at 1st i thought maybe a part from a tractor, it is rock or maybe graphite ? you can write on wood with it. it is very light weight though.
maybe a prehistoric dildo? bet it got lots of action :0

Cave girls best friend? ... no seriously, I think it's a piece of modern prefab. At first I was thinking a really intricate atlatl weight, but I have to say it's been machined into form. jmo. Nice points Tree, you're slaying them.

Your piece is graphite and was told they were used in batteries. I find them quite often with my metal detector and they are usually 8" long. Some them are round but most of them that I find are groved. I hate finding them things.

wolverine sounds right, we find them in the old mining ghost towns around here, usually with more grooves
