Didn't they find one of the very few clovis from WV on blennerhassett? Did they have one displayed there? Thanks for the photos , been wanting to go there for some time . Also since you folks might be from around that area have you ever heard of a small indian artifacts museum off the highway that runs from athens to belpre? Some fella I sold some artifacts to years ago was supposd to be putting up a little museum. He had a greenhouse business there I'd say 30 miles or so from athens towards belpre. Been a long time since I been up that way.

Ohioan it's funny you mentioned that. a friend and i were out hunting up towards Athens just yesterday and i believe he said something about a little museum somewhere between Athens and Belpre. i can check on the and let ya know... i would like to check it out myself. Not sure about the Clovis point being found on the island tho and not sure if they have it at the museum. i went down there for the first time a few months ago when i first got into hunting relics.All of these artifacts used to be in the local high school and someone broke into the school and stole alot of them. You may be able to see in some pic that there is just a piece of string...thats where a artifact used to be. Larry where in Parkersburg do you live if ya don't mind me asking? im on northend by PHS. be nice to go hunting some time.
