a couple points......After the AACA SHOW
Had a nice time at the AACA show this weekend. I attended the preview on Friday evening with pointdlr and saw some familiar faces. I came back the next day and saw even more familiar folks. I will not mention anyone for fear of leaving somebody out. Seemed like it was even more well attended than in years past.
Sunday I got a call from a buddy who begged me to come over to pick some sweet corn and tomatoes (he and his family have a really large garden and he did not want it to go to waste and who would I be to argue?!). While I was picking some silver queen I found a nice but relatively small Ft. Ancient point (no pic but it was made of Boyle chert). After the tomatoes I was walking back to the house and scanning the side of the soy bean field. I was thinking of all the nice relics that I had just viewed and this caught my eye at the VERY edge of the field.
What do you folks think as far as type and material are concerned? I have my own ideas and will post later. Good luck out there!

Should have been an archaeologist, love anything old:CW relics, arrowheads, Pre-Columbian. Best finds: AVC cuff button, CS staff button , 4 US plates, CW fleam. Best of 2012:

Thirty7, Srv, SEKYPALEO-
That is exactly what I was thinking (as it is too dull to be Zaleski??). Thanks all for the the comments. It kinda made my day as I was really must picking produce and the points came as a nice bonus.
SRV- I bet you have some Kanawah points. Could you please post a few??
Thanks all,
Chuck

Here's a couple pieces of Kanawha Chuck, I find alot of it in WV and occasionally in western Va. Like most lithic materials it comes in several grades, from course grained low grade to a fine grained with some lustre.
