    I need your opinion.

My boy and I found this at a colonial house site in Suffolk, Va last year. It looks like a indian petroglyph hunting scene to me, but I'm still unsure (I've been starring at this so long that I'm starting see things..lol) Thanks for any help!

hmmmmmm....looks like that to me too...but you need an expert to check it out who can do sample testing on the paint....blood oxide and all that .....how long is that piece?

Hate to say this but that is just a rock I think.. natural iron oxides have made the "marks" on it.

    LOL,

Hey Cannonman.....throw them a bone dude.......!

Gotta agree with you though, it appears to be a rock with some type of discoloration. I have a friend here who has a wonderful imagination....can see indian artifacts in the strangest stuff....he is especially found of the "iron ore" type stuff with holes in it....all natural of course, but your imagination can run. Normally I just agree with him that "yeah, that might be." He does find some great stuff in his defense.

The only art object I have seen found was stick figures scratched into a slate type material on a banner stone found here. Odd stone looked more like a stop sign with two holes drilled at each angle.
