I don't know, just moved up here and my reference books are still in limbo. I've been doing more hunting for relics, than organizing my relic room....Hoping somebody would chime in about the type...Found in Northern Alabama..same site as all the other recent stuff I have been posting

I would say Tn River knife or Copena. Man you have a good swimming hole. I saw in another post where you said the water rose on you. Go to TVA's website and they have a flow chart that will tell you what times they are going to discharge and what the levels will be. They can drop it so fast your boat will be on dry mud if you are not careful or they can put you under water in 10 minutes. It tells me which water shed to be on like above or below Guntersville Dam or Chickamauga. You will learn it.
Do not whatever you do dig in any of the shell midens or you will be off to jail.
The material looks like dover and horse creek.

Isn't it broke?

are you referring to the base or the inclusion near the tip I promise that no repairs have been done. Not sure if it is a complete point or if the base has been snapped off.
