    A what's it

Anybody have any idea about the pictured item?

My grand kids were given a sack of broken points by one of our neighbors, who, several years ago passed away. This was in the sack of stuff, and had been repaired before he gave it to the kids. I have no idea where he might have found it, or if it is even an artifact, except it was in with quite a number of broken points.

If it weren't for what appears to be some degree of polish in what appears to be a groove, I would say geofact. It does resemble a very small hammer.

Not sure what it is, I have found something similar. I found mine on a campsite that has yet to produce a natural rock, or geofact. I have no clue as to what it is. Mine looks like a peanut. John

I've got this small one that looks very similar to both of those except that mine is made from Hematite and I always considered it a Plummet.
