Professional Help Needed - What did I Find?
Found near Iraan, Texas laying on a hill side. I was pretty excited, but don't have a clue what it is other than it is an American Indian artifact and has been obviously worked. Was it used for an axe, skinning knife or what? As you can see from the pics, it is quite large and fills up my hand. Measures 5 & 1/2" Tall - 4 & 1/4" Wide and the base is 1&1/2". Regretably I accicentally dropped it and it broke. Is now super glued, with a small chip missing, which I could not refind. Was very angry with myself for allowing that to happen. Anyway it is what it is. Does it have any value to collectors? Any and all input appreciated. Thanks for looking.

The outline and the cortex on the base are classic for a Kerrville knife. A cool texas relic.

Re: Professional Help Needed - What did I Find?
It looks to me to be a Kerrville knife. Google it and see what you think. I'm not familiar with Texas point types but this may point you in the right direction.
Nice find, but you have to stop dropping it! Actually probably everyone has dropped one. I dropped a whole but rough red jasper hopewell point is a parking lot, broke it in half and never could find the tip.
