    A really great uniface tool

I know how people like these unique Paleo tools on this forum. Thought I would post one that I really like from my collection. I am not sure if material is Sonora or a highly patinated Hornstone. I particularly like how the two sides are different colors. Comments welcome.
    Regards,
    Jon Dickinson

Woodworking, cutting, chopping and hide-working purposes were some of the known uses.

Very nice Jon. I have one almost identical to that one that came off a Paleo site I hunt.

Great multipurpose tool Jon, thanks for sharing it. I'm like you, heavily patinated Sonora or water toned Hornstone...tough call. Ancient swiss army knife, really cool piece.

Jon, here's the one I was refering to earlier. This came from a known Paleo site in Haverhill, Ohio. It looks very similar to yours.
