    Hammerstone, Nodule or Rock?

I found this in a shelter back in December, it was about 18 inches deep. It appears to have some witness marks on it so I thought it might have been used as a hammerstone. My digging partner thought that it might be a flint core and that the witness marks may have been created in an attempt to crack it open. Heck, it might just be a rock but I wanted to run it by you guys for an evaluation before it gets tossed aside or busted open by my digging partner. He's rather curious about what's inside.....

I doubt there is anything inside that rock. But what do I know. It looks like it has been hammer on the one end. Thanks for posting.

Doesn't appear to be flint-but sure looks like a hammer to me!!!
