    Celt and Axe

    I have been saying that i was going to post some pics, but just got around to it. The axe was found by my grandfather and the celt was found digging a basement. You cant really tell from the picture, but the celt is a greenish color. Enjoy.

    Wow,

    Excellent finds.....the axe has seen some use....a lot of bit wear. The Greenstone celt is wonderful....looks like a high status item. Nice polish.
    Get back to digging in those spots.....I know those are NOT alone.

    Nice hardstone dishnet! That 3/4 groove axe is great and the celt blows it away.
