    Small scraper or drill??

    Just curious of what yall thought this was. I am thinking it was once a point and they ended up making a thumb scraper out of it but thats just my opinion. It could have been a small drill as well.

    The stone has good color, is the tip smooth like it might have been worn off, or can you see where the tip was broken off ?

    The tip was broke off. I added another pic of the other side. It shows the tip a little better. I also messed with the brightness/contrast to show the deep red and almost translucent vein of the flint. It is a very pretty piece.

    Probably used as a little Awl or Punch in working with leather. Nice looking tool.
