My Storage Containers
I have only been Hunting 3 areas for The last few years all very close to Home and came up with Alot of pieces so I got 3 of those beed containers to keep them seperated and from clanking eachother too much. I dont normally keep a few of the nicer ones in them though I just decided to put everything where it belongs for the pic. First pic is a field collection, second is a creek and third is a creek and field spot I hunt at. I also wanted to show a better pic of my Sedalia looking base cause last one was bad. It was found near the area of the stuff in first pic.

Re: My Storage Containers
Looks like a good way to store them. are you considering a frame yet? I've only been doing this a short two years, but am thinking about a small frame. I want to see them all the time

Re: My Storage Containers
Thanks josh, I was going to get a small one, just big enough. Now I'll re-think that.

Re: My Storage Containers
I see alot of your artifacts are just like what I find so you are probably
close to mid mo, I hunt moniteau pettis and cole and morgan counties,
I have only been hunting for a couple of years also, I just completed my
first frame not to long ago with my nicer stuff, and I have a couple of
shoe boxes full of brokes and was planning on displaying some of those
also. You have some very nice pieces there, and for color I think we are in
the right state and area. Good luck in your hunts Josh and maybe we will
run into each other, Take care !! wes JYD...

Re: My Storage Containers
Josh - i had nearly the exact same thing some years ago. It's a good and easy way to keep your site finds separated. Those paleo points are a spot you nee to keep working.

Re: My Storage Containers
In my experience the 12x18x2 Wooden Trays are the best size to get. You can get quite a few pieces in them and the pieces will stay put and won't slide. The 9x24x2 cases are really nice as well. If you get the really big one your pieces will slide around if you try to transport them to shows or move them around.
Here some pictures of the size I mentioned. The first two are 9x24x2 and the last two are 12x18x2.
"Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends."

I am in jefferson county just a kittle bit SW of st louis 35 mi. I know of a few out wgere your at and I used to camp near eldon and versails in morgan co. I think I like headhunting people the most so hope we do run into eachother.
Dang Steve you got the idea on frames! Sure you could fill them but the space looks better than stuff all crammed.
