a broken beauty

went out this morning for alittle while before it got hot and walked a newly plowed field that had always been a pasture. about 10 steps into the field I found this heartbreaker sticking up out of the dirt. I looked around for the rest of it but no luck. one edge has really defined serrating on it. the end is broken also. I would call it a knife. would I be right

That is a real heartbreaker for sure , that sure must have been a nice knife when it was first made , it look's like some great material . That one really shows some great workmanship . A broken heartbreaker but still a nice find .

The other piece is out there, and I'm sure many more are to be found from first plow! Looks like a serrated knife form!
