Re: 6/19 Creek Finds
Found this pecked and polished greenstone piece as well, a preform I guess. Any opinions on this piece are welcomed.

Re: 6/19 Creek Finds
As much as I played in fished in the creeks as a kid, I never found a point. After seeing all these, I think I will walk a few creeks at low water this summer.

Some good finds there, Th3rty7...I love how you get down even with the points and take the in-situ pictures--that's pretty cool looking .

You did great 37.... That hardstone piece is very interesting! Maybe a pestle of some sort, or a preform to something!

Re: 6/19 Creek Finds
All the greenstone needed was a bit it looks like. Maybe just a future project as it was a highly prized stone in the southeast. What are you calling that last one? It is neat and I agree with Sandcreek on your insitu's.

Thanks sandcreek, I think more context can be interesting in in-situ pics, also, it reminds me of where I found it, mud and rocks look really similar and I sometimes forget exactly where I found certain pieces.

I'm not sure what type to call that hafted. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate the comments.

Appreciate the kind words, I'm starting to think pestle is likely. I just crouch down and hold the camera at a low angle on those in-situs, thanks dude.
Steve, Musky, Oh.axeman, and Chuck, thanks fellows, good luck and happy hunting everyone.
