Are you sure it's not worked on the end that you think is broken? It kind of looks like it is

    Great find BTW.

No its a clean break. I foolishly picked it up and took off running and hollering for my parents instead of looking for the other half. One expert told me that the break was fresh and the other half was probably close by.

Better jog that memory. That is a real shame. How large is it as is right now?? That point would have been worth a fortune whole......easily 12k plus!!!!....................................

Its about 1 3/4 inches and unbelievably gorgeous in real life. I believe it would have been one of the best folsom examples ever if it were whole. The color and the craftsmanship are the best i've seen in a folsom. The fluting is deep and the ears are magnificent. I have a general idea where the area is but i live in Memphis now. My family have found 4 folsoms in this area but the other three were just the ears. What do you think the value of it is in present condition? Not that i would ever sell it in a million years because of the great thrill it gave me as a young boy when i found it.

Maybe a little over a 100$. I would either find that area again and try finding the tip or have it restored. You will only get maybe$500 restored. What it has going for ya is that it has perfect symmetry to it. The material is awesome as well. By the way my Folsom is the best ever.......................lol........... ...........................GTP
